I am a natural light photographer in Central California specializing in unique relaxed lifestyle type portraiture. If you want super posed formal portraits I am not your girl. I like to capture real moments and real emotion. I approach all my sessions/weddings the same way, striving to capture memories and moments that you will look fondly on for years to come. My photographic style is modern (yet timeless), fresh and simple. If you are unsure about having an engagement session... do it! You won't regret it. I absolutely love getting the chance to photograph my couples before their big day. Meeting in this way before the wedding day really helps when it comes to bride and groom portraits since you already know what to expect from me and how I operate and direct while shooting.

Happy first day of the "ber" months!

Sharing some pretty film scans and a little vent.

I have been in such a funk with posting on Instagram lately. I have never been great with posting consistently and sometimes the pressure to constantly be showing up on this platform is overwhelming and makes me avoid it all together. I liked when we could just post a pretty photo of a recent shoot and move along with our day! Now there is the need for engaging captions, virality, trends. One day its carousels, the next it's 10 second catchy reels. It's exhausting, and so hard not to play the comparison game when other people seem to be thriving in this area! Lately I've been seeing lots of posts with similar sentiments so it's nice to know I am not alone!

Having a creative business when you are so emotionally tied to your work and when it is so personal is not for the faint of heart! Anyway, I am going to try and show up more, but also not beat myself up over it when I just don't feel like it!
