one year ago, I officially became a full-time photographer. 🤍
I remember being so excited and so scared to leave my career in news and bet on myself. I had no idea what the next year would look like, but I knew I had to give this little side hustle I started in 2018 a real shot.
And somehow, here I am one year later, sitting on a couch in my very own studio/office with the keys in my hand. 🥹🗝️
This is something I’ve been looking for for a LONG time. Somewhere I can create, meet with clients, shoot, edit, and actually have a little home base for this business I’ve poured so much of myself into.
And the way this space came together feels a little too perfect. It’s in the same building where Charlee goes to Mother’s Day Out, so I can drop her off, take Tommy upstairs with me, and actually get work done. My home office can finally become Tommy’s room. 😂
It has the prettiest natural light, tons of potential, and is basically a completely blank canvas for me to make my own.
I can’t wait to fill this space with my couples, families, babies, brands, seniors, Christmas minis… all of it. 🥹
It feels like one of those things that just fell into my lap at exactly the right time.
So here’s to one year of doing this full-time, a new little space to call mine, and whatever comes next. 🤍
