I have a Fall Session opening today at 4 in Tulsa! Still lots of green and yellow leaves but it won’t last much longer! Other than some final Christmas tree farm sessions, this may be one of my last opportunities for trees with leaves this season! $125, 20 min.

The secret is out! So thankful to get to capture Charlie and Conner’s baby announcement photos last week at the . I sure love the Christmas trees there, but also loved these great non-Christmas tree photos too!! Congrats ! New blog post up with some of their sweet Fall announcement images.

Thinking about this little guy today as he is home with dad not feeling super great! You know you have a big boy when he yells in the middle of the night “mom, I threw up” and he made it into the “Fro Up bowl” without a mess 🙌 Sleepy parents but he has been the best sick kiddo. 💙

Newborn sessions can be very stressful for mom and dad! My first recommendation is to hand your little one over to your photographer and let them do the work for the next few hours! To help create a smooth session, it’s helpful to have these three things….

1) A fed baby! Feeding baby 30 minutes prior the session will make their tummy full and help them sleep… also it is totally fine to feed the little one mid session if needed! That gives me a chance to take photos of their room and capture some other details about them!

2) White noise! I often hear that babies don’t like white noise…. But I am a firm believer that loud white noise is much closer to what the little one heard for 9 months and they almost always will calm down with some good white noise.

3) Warmth. Babies like to be warm and swaddled. You’ll want their room to be a little warmer than normal when we are un******ng the little ones and taking those unswaddled photos! No one likes to be cold without clothes… especially a little baby who has been inside your warm body for 9 months!

Hello… wanted to give a short introduction if you are new to my page. I’m Dana! I’m a working mom with two little kiddos, Olivia Laine (4) and Ellis Ford (3). I’ve been married to my sweet husband for over 12 years! Without David, I wouldn’t have a photography business… as an Art Director, he has taught me so much in the creative world! I spend most of my days in the corporate world as an Accounting Director, but my favorite time is spent with my family. I'd like to think I'm a country girl, but truthfully, I’m just a hard working city girl, raised in a blue-collared world. There’s not much I won’t attempt to do around the house with a little YouTube training and advice from my dad. I'm addicted to Pumpkin Spice Lattes, basic girl confession. My sweet puppy's name is Penny... Penny Laine and she was my first baby. I work in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, live in Owasso, OK, and spend a lot of our free time in the Tulsa Metro. Being a part of multiple communities is exhausting, but exciting as well! I have a desire to lead people, serve people, and love people.

My photography style? I shoot a combination of natural poses and candid shots with a focus on capturing the lifecycle from maternity, newborn, to seeing families grow. As a mom, I hope to create a comfortable experience for the brand new mom to the mom who is losing her mind trying to wrangle wild kiddos in a photoshoot.

I got to spend a wonderful day with my little girl yesterday. It was so fun to see her with her class! She was so confident and excited and silly. I pray she is always all of those things!! 🤪 to a Fall session in 2016! Heather messaged me yesterday and it was so fun thinking back to this precious shoot and baby pup Bruce…. When Bruce was the only baby in their family. Who else can relate to adding kiddos to their family when it was once just you and your cutie dog babies that you had first! Bruce gained a baby brother a few years ago and has even lived in a few different states! Lots of change for this pup since we had this photo session 🐶 Also, fun fact…. My sweet boy shares a name with Bruce’s dad, Ellis. 😊
