Gracie is the SWEETEST! Absolute honor to have worked with her yesterday!

One of my favorite parts of photography? The people it brings into my life. 🫶✨

For most weddings, I bring along a second shooter to help capture different angles and moments throughout the day. Yesterday, Sam Wheeler Photography was my second shooter, and she was an absolute gem.

We met in the parking lot right before walking into the wedding, started chatting immediately, and spent the next 8 hours working together to create fun shots, throwing around creative ideas, and documenting the sweetest day for the Broaduses.

The wedding was beautiful, the reception was a blast, AND I left with a new photographer friend. 💕📸

The older I get, the more I realize that love is one of the bravest things we do.

In a world that changes constantly, choosing one person and saying “I’m all in” is kind of… insanely courageous.

Maybe that’s why I love destination elopements so much.

They aren’t about escaping. They’re about intention… Standing at the edge of a cliff, on a windswept coastline, or beneath a sky you’ve never seen before and making a vow to choose each other every day.

No matter where life takes you next.
No matter what comes.

Just two people making a promise in a place they’ll never forget. 🥲🖤

Fun fact: this was actually an engagement session. But my goodness, does it not feel like a dang movie!?

I can appreciate a big wedding… but I think one of the most beautiful things about eloping is that it brings everything back to what truly matters most... Love, commitment, intention, and the sacredness of choosing each other.

There’s something so powerful about standing on the Northern Ireland coast with the person you love most, surrounded by nothing but God, nature, the ocean, and the wild beauty of the earth around you. The cliffs, the wind, the moody skies… it all feels timeless in a way that’s hard to explain and impossible to forget. My heart is all fluttery just thinking about it!

Ireland has had my heart for years, and documenting love there feels deeply personal to me. I would LOVE to capture your Ireland elopement. 🥹🖤

I’m for the couples who value emotion over perfection, connection over performance, and a wedding day that actually feels like them. Your story deserves to be felt, not just photographed.

This wedding arguably meant more to me than any other wedding I’ve shot to date… because I had the privilege of witnessing this relationship blossom from the very beginning! This girl here was the best roommate ever. She is the sweetest, kindest soul and it was the biggest honor to capture her big day! 🥲 these two together are such an inspiration for what true love should be. I’m so dang happy for you both!!!

I feel heartbroken, violated, and worried about my clients. DO NOT inquire through www.samwheeler.co ‼️‼️‼️

Long story short, I no longer own the domain and the person who purchased it somehow made it look like the 2023 version of my website with all my photos and it appears they’re pretending to be me. Legal action is in the works.

For the time being, my focus is damage control. I’m not sure what the future holds for my brand now. Most importantly, I want to protect my people. I can only assume their plan is to scam people or try to scam me in order to get my website back. 😭
