Almost exactly a year ago I went to watch a show at the with who had and in tow. A couple more Merc shows and six months later and they had relocated to Tulsa. We were all talking last night about it feels like they've always been here and been a part of our friend circle. I'm so glad these three joined us here in Tulsa. Anytime I see them at a show I know I'm going to hear bad jokes and get a good hug.

I haven't seen in almost 3 years and that's entirely too long. I was so excited when booked these two shows and it was no surprise to me that they both sold out. Last night was a fantastic show. Loved the energy of the band and hearing "Cranes of Potter" in person brought a tear to my eye.

I've been eager to see live for some time now and finally got that opportunity last week when she swung by for a show. If you missed out on her album, Pawn Shop Queen when it was released last year, I recommend you go give it a listen.

It's always a treat to photograph artists that are coming through town to play shows. I was so excited to shoot both and this week. These are just a couple photos of these amazing and gorgeous artists and I can't wait to edit more. Truly a dream session.

I've posted a lot about lately, but they're my favorites and I watched them open for this past Friday night and hold their own against a rowdy crowd. The crowd LOVED them, just like I knew they would. So proud of them for continuing on and doing music, even though like many other artists, they've had some rough circumstances the last few years. Makes victories like this all the sweeter.
