Never underestimate the power of second shooting.

One of my favorite things about second shooting is getting to work alongside other incredibly talented photographers and seeing how they approach a wedding day. The way they see light, use their surroundings, connect with their couples, and turn an ordinary space into something extraordinary.

Every photographer sees things a little differently, and there’s so much to learn when you get to see the way someone else’s mind works behind the camera.

You have to spend a fortune on photography to get beautiful wedding photos.

The truth? The most expensive photographer isn't always the best photographer for you.

When choosing your wedding photographer, I encourage couples to look beyond the price tag and consider the person behind the camera.

Here are a few things worth looking into:

✨ **Their work:** Do you love their photography style? Look through full wedding galleries when possible, not just a handful of their favorite images.

✨ **Consistency:** Does their work consistently reflect the quality and style you're looking for?

✨ **Reviews:** What are past clients saying about their experience? Google reviews and testimonials can tell you a lot about how a photographer communicates and cares for their couples.

✨ **Professionalism:** Do they have a contract? Clear pricing? A reliable system for communication, payments, and delivering your images?

✨ **Personality:** Do you feel comfortable with them? Your photographer will be with you through some of the most meaningful moments of your wedding day.

A calm wedding day is one of my biggest priorities for my couples. 🤍

Tiger & Paige’s wedding day didn’t go exactly as planned. Things started running a little behind during getting ready, but that didn’t mean we had to sacrifice the moments they wanted captured.
