Haug & Bees Media Our Story:

Welcome to Haug & Bees Media! This business began as KH Photography, but my husband, Nathan, has been an indispensable force since day one.

Tulsa photographers specializing in Seniors, Families & Couples. 🧡 Fun, relaxed sessions with plenty of posing guidance so you can feel comfortable, confident & completely yourself. We are a husband-and-wife media & photography team rooted in a 15- year partnership built on passion, support and a shared vision. Over the years, he's been right by my side- from directing poses and scouting locations to capturing video and taking photos himself. Our transition to Haug & Bees Media officially recognizes that powerful collaboration. The name Haug & Bees is a tribute to our history and our future, blending out married name Hauglund, with my proud maiden name, Beesley. It unifies all out family ventures, ensuring our brand is as cohesive as our work. What We Do:

When we decided to start our first Senior Rep Team, a magazine was definitely not part of the plan. 😂

It started with applications, a lot of conversations between the two of us, and choosing five girls we thought would make an awesome first Haug & Bees Senior Rep Team.

Then we started actually doing this thing.
We got to know the girls, started planning sessions around their personalities and ideas, had plenty of laughs, and watched this little group start to become its own thing.

And somewhere along the way, Kristen had an idea. 😂
She tried to explain it to Nathan. Nathan basically said, “Okay...do your thing.”
So I did.
And The Hive was born. 🐝

It's a way for us to capture more than just the finished photos—to pull together the girls' personalities, stories, favorite moments and all those little things that make their senior year theirs.

And while we've been putting this first issue together, we started thinking...

Why should our Senior Reps get all the fun?

We think this could be something really special to offer our other seniors too—a personalized senior magazine as an add-on to their senior session, filled with their photos, personality and story.

We're still playing with the idea, but we'd love to know what you think!

What does a senior session with us actually look like? 😂📸

Sometimes it’s bringing out the lights. Sometimes it’s showing you exactly how we want you to pose. And sometimes it’s Nathan laying flat on a downtown Tulsa sidewalk because apparently that’s where the shot is. 😂

Delia had some really fun ideas for her senior session, and we had the best time stepping outside the usual and figuring out how to bring them to life.

And if you’re someone who says, “I don’t know what to do in pictures” — don’t worry about that part. We’ll help you with where to stand, what to do with your hands, where to look…all of it.

You just show up and be you. We’ll take care of the rest. 🧡

We thought we were photographing Abby… but someone else had other plans.

Meet Cutie—the farm’s unofficial photography assistant. 😄

Every time we picked up the camera (especially when the flash went off), Cutie had to come see what was happening. He was determined to be part of the action, and honestly, we didn’t mind one bit!

Once our curious little helper was satisfied, Abby absolutely shined. From the peaceful pond to the wildflowers and that incredible Oklahoma sunset, this session was full of laughter, beautiful light, and one unforgettable farm friend.

These are the moments we love most—the ones you could never plan, but will always remember. 🤍

Yesterday Nathan Hauglund and I went to the Tallgrass Prairie Preserve and enjoyed driving the Bison loop. They were out in several spots and we even caught some deer and a few birds while enjoying the nice weather. Here are a few of the shots I took and Nathan will post some of his later. It felt good to have the camera in my hands again as I've been doing more of the editing of our shoots lately and Nathan has been taking the pictures.

Pink is about to be the color of the week! 🎀

We are officially on baby watch for this glowing momma. I’ll be heading to the hospital in the next week or so to document her baby girl’s very first "official" photos.

Who else thinks the Fresh 48 window is the most magical time to photograph? 🙋‍♀️📸
