A little editing queue update + transparency from me.

I always try really hard to keep my turnaround time to 2 weeks, however right now I am sitting at the 3 week mark (still withing my contract). I don't love being at the 3 week mark, I am working super hard to get myself caught back up and stay within a 2 week turnaround time.

This season has been incredibly busy, not only with photography but also with personal life as well. And all of you that know me, family / personal life is absolutely so important to me. But so is getting back your galleries. I will NEVER rush through a gallery just to check it off my list. Every gallery deserves the same love and attention as the one before it. I am a habit of paying attention to the little details and that is what sets me apart.

This is a one women show over here, I am the photographer, editor, scheduler, email answerer, text & call answering, gallery deliver, social media manager all while also being a mom, spouse and having a family outside of work. I try to remind myself that I am one human behind this little business.

This one’s a little extra special. 🥹💙🏈

After photographing so many athletes and so many families, every once in a while I get a gallery that reminds me exactly why photographs matter so much.

This time, it’s mine.

This is Bentley’s last year of youth football. His last year wearing #49 at this stage of the game, and somehow I swear I blinked and we got here.

And what makes this season even more special is that his dad has gotten to be right there beside him as his coach. Not just watching from the sidelines, but coaching him, pushing him, teaching him, celebrating him and getting to experience this season with him. One day Bentley is going to look back and realize just how special that was. 🥹

Then there’s little brother, who thinks all of this is just the coolest thing in the world. 💙

I spend so much of my life behind the camera documenting everyone else’s babies, milestones and seasons. Getting to document ours will forever be some of my favorite work.

Because eventually the pads get put away. The jerseys don’t fit anymore. Dad isn’t Coach anymore. Little brothers grow up. And these ordinary football nights become some of the memories you’d give anything to go back and live one more time.

So yeah this gallery hits a little different. 🥹
