Okay friends, this is the studio setup I’m looking at for this year’s Christmas studio minis, and I am so obsessed! 😍 I need y’all to weigh in though so I can book a date. *IF YOU’RE INTETESTED IN BOOKING* please let me know which date you prefer! Not a commitment just need to pick dates. 🙂

1. Sunday, Nov. 22nd
2. Saturday, Nov. 28th
3. Sunday, Nov. 29th
4. Any of the above

Two things to note: Thanksgiving is Nov. 26th this year, and Sunday sessions would take place in the afternoon because of church. 😌 also, studio location is in Bixby/South Tulsa.

This summer has been one of my absolute favorites, filled with outdoor family shoots, lifestyle newborn, and maternity. Today left me over the moon 🌙 when I got to:
1. Take FRESH 48 photos for a family I’ve known for years (and have taken their maternity, newborn, and family photos); and
2. Send a finished gallery to another repeat client who is using them to announce her pregnancy to her family and friends. 🥹

Guys, I can’t tell you what an honor it is to walk beside y’all as your families grow, your babies go from a snuggly bundle to walking to running, and your cup overflows. Almost all of my clients come back to me year after year for their photos, and as a photographer in my eighth year of business, that is truly the greatest compliment I could ask for. This has never felt like a job, because of you.

This gallery is such a highlight reel of this summer for me: warm evenings spent in the greenhouse and the gardens, getting to watch sweet families love on their kiddos and enjoy life out here on the farm. The light, the colors, the movement, and the little details are such a vibe. 🫶🏻 if you’ve been waiting for family pics, let this be your sign— summer at golden hour is the perfect time. ☀️

If you think family photos are an hour of standing in front of the camera forcing smiles, you’re probably thinking of a different photographer. 😂 Lifestyle photography is capturing the candid moments… smelling a flower, spontaneous father-daughter dances, and lots of kisses. It’s movement and laughter and fun. It’s your family being authentically themselves. This kind of session is what I live for as a photographer! 🫶🏻 Thank you Hughes family for trusting my vision and being such a joy to work with! 👏🏻

Over the next few weeks I’ll be sharing a few styled shoots I’d love to create this summer/early fall! 🫶🏻 If you’re interested in any of these ideas, it will be my regular hourly rate plus any applicable location fees. 🥰 Up first: horse shoot! Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mamas. In case no one has told you today, you are the rock of your family, the best shoulder to cry on, the keeper of the snacks and bandaids, the biggest cheerleader, the rememberer of all the favorite songs and bedtime rituals, and the one whose smile can make everything better for your tiny humans. What you do every day matters more than you will ever know, so keep showing up for those precious kiddos God has trusted you with. 🫶🏻 You are seen and loved!
