Early preparations for the Sapulpa's Route 66 Christmas Chute are already starting up along Dewey Avenue, and we truly can’t wait to attend! It’s a holiday tradition we love so much. The newly refreshed downtown layout makes such a welcoming impression. There are flat, continuous walkways that flow easily from block to block without uneven steps or tight curbs in the way, making it so easy for everyone to enjoy the festivities.

Mark your calendars to check out this unique event: November 19th through December 27th!

Always love passing by the Blue Dome while exploring downtown. Whether you're driving along historic Route 66 or taking a daytime walk through the district, this 1920s landmark never loses its retro charm.

It is going through its first phase of a major exterior restoration and lit up its newly rewired 48 base lights - you can see them now if you head downtown!

If there’s one thing you all know about us, it’s that we love sharing things to do in Tulsa!

One of our favorite holiday traditions since moving here a few years ago is to attend (and share via livestream over on our YouTube channel 😉) the Tulsa Christmas Parade presented by American Waste Control each December!

This year will be a big milestone for the Tulsa Christmas Parade! 100 years!!

To honor the milestone, the parade is called “100 Years of Cheer: Land of the Giants” and our dear pal Mary Beth Babcock is the Grand Marshal! Absolutely amazing!!

Make plans to get yourself to downtown Tulsa on December 12th. Parade is due to begin at 11am.

For all information on the route, times, etc - check out the Tulsa Christmas Parade website or social media pages.

Stepping into the Philtower lobby as part of a downtown Tulsa tunnel tour is magical.

While navigating the subterranean passageways connecting these historic oil-era skyscrapers is a fascinating look into the past, walking into the Philtower and looking up at those vaulted, hand-painted plaster ceilings and brass details takes your breath away. Absolutely stunning! It's like you stepped into another place and time.

Tucked into the rolling Osage Hills, the Tulsa Botanic Garden is such a peaceful spot to wander during the day. From the terraced floral paths down to the central lake, the scenery is always shifting. Their annual holiday light displays just around the corner, so it’s about to get even more magical out there after dark!

Always a great day exploring the Meadow Gold District! Between Buck and Stella (and the other 3 giants + Piggy) keeping watch over 11th Street, this little pocket of town never fails to make a simple drive down the Mother Road feel special.

Highly encourage you to stop by Buck Atom's Cosmic Curios on 66!
