My style is usually more zoomed out on the full moon but I'm having fun with some closer up shots. And you know what? I'm pretty in love with my body but it's still hard to see my face up close and certain folds catch me off guard. But I still love seeing myself in this way. IT's part of how I understand who I am, where I'm at and what I've been through.

You don't have to be Andy Warhol or Marilyn Monroe to make a 9 photo grid of your own face, right? 🤭

Anyone else really love staring at their own face? I loved spending time in front on the mirror as a kid. Adults seemed to take their time in bathroom so I used my privacy minutes for mirror time. The lighting in bathrooms is always better than in bedrooms anyway. I loved to pretend I was grown up and would find poses I liked wishing I could capture them. And now I can!

😆 Although.... it's still hard to capture on camera what I see in the mirror. Aaaaannnddd when I make the photos black & white I don't have to see how red my face usually is.

It's high time for another feminine embodiment retreat. If you've been to one of my events before, please comment so women can hear about how special they are.

In this retreat I offer a Shakti Yoga practice dedicated to connecting with our "wildish nature" (as Clarissa Pinkola Estes puts it in Women Who Run With the Wolves) that is usually concealed under a shroud of domesticity. But your wildish nature can never be fully concealed. This is a practice of gathering back what has been hidden for too long. This is your welcome back to the wild woman who lives in you.
