What was the best part of Dani and Andrei’s wedding day? Their decision to have a private breakfast together and read their vows the morning of their wedding. Before the tent reveal, the hair and makeup, the first looks, the ceremony with family and friends, they chose to have a simple morning together. It was so incredibly special and calmed their wedding day jitters. After 8 years together, seeing each other on their wedding morning can only bring good luck from here on out.

Friday Introductions! Okay, it’s definitely not Friday yet but it’s been a century since I showed the face behind the camera.

How’s October shaping up for you? It’s a little crazy around here as I edit my brains out while cranking out four sets of costumes for Halloween. Not four costumes, four SETS. Thank goodness for Amazon prime! I can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on!

October is an insane month for wedding vendors, as you may already know. Did you know that I only book TWO weddings per month? Yep. It’s soooo hard to turn away amazing couples once I’m booked up for a month but it allows me to give personal service to my clients while not spreading myself too thin. (PS-2022 is more than halfway booked already)

What are y’all up to for Halloween this weekend? We are hitting up a costume contest at the arcade on Saturday and hitting the streets for candy collection on Sunday. How about you?

Scott and Chelsea. They met during a pandemic and met each other’s families on zoom. When they called me in January, they knew that a genuine, emotional and intimate wedding is what they wanted. So call it a or a if you want but there was nothing small about the love in that room.

It’s no secret that I cry at most weddings. This wedding though, had me choked up more times than is normal for having just met this family a few hours prior. What a wonderful group of people.

Scott and Chelsea, thank you for trusting us with your memories. It was truly an honor.
