Caught something pretty special in the skies over Tucson yesterday. "Independence One" in honor of America's 250th anniversary.
I saw an article about Southwest’s new patriotic livery and, sure enough, spotted it on FlightRadar — SWA1421 coming in from Chicago (MDW → TUS), tail number N1776R.
Ran home, grabbed my gear, and barely had time to grab this shot. This shot was taken from about 3.5 miles out as she came in on approach. (not ideal but didnt have time to get closer)

First time meeting Aaron Plessinger 🤘
Dude stayed in the autograph line in front of the rig even after everyone else headed back to the trailers.
Absolute class act. Awesome dude all around. 👊
