I have been observing a few days of facebook silence from my usual ragebait construction updates since learning about the despicable shooting that took the lives of two very cool dudes, including a fellow photographer. I hope to see you all tonight at the vigil for Cameron and Vinny.

After I share photos of the vigil, maybe we can get back to the mundane crap like I-19/Irvington, Grant Rd, the Casino, and Tycho being annoying.

I had some drone videos of water running in the wash but that's not going to happen anymore. Cameron was a friend and a talented photographer. I accidentally fell into photographing protests and at first I did not super enjoy it and it was a little scary. I ran into Cameron many times and he was the kindest and coolest dude. He always said hey when we ran into each other and gave me a hug. If I didn't meet him, I might have given up.

Flock cameras aren't going to solve this s**t. Scanning your id and taking your photo isn't going to solve it either. It's the fu***ng guns and the fu***ng hate.

Fb brought me to a post by a page of a local small business that was brushing off "drama" for making a crappy AI generated post by making an even crappier one. There were dozens of comments between both posts telling them to "read the room". I commented as well. Fb brought me back to the post again later. All of the comments dragging them were gone. Read the room.

Facebook has been trying to guilt me into making my videos tall instead of wide. What do the people say? Do you prefer to see wide, cinematic drone footage or s**tty cropped footage with 2/3 of the scene missing? Photo in comments is what this video would have looked like at 9:16 and shows everything that is lost. I mean, I know what Christopher Nolan would say.
