These little drama queens are adorable.

“When threatened, hog-nosed snakes possess the best bag of “tricks” you’ll ever see. If flaring out their neck (appearing ‘cobraesque’), and striking (with their mouth closed!) doesn’t deter a predator (or an amused herpetologist), these fantastic snakes will roll over and play dead, complete with their tongue hanging out.
