The last three years have changed me in ways I never expected. I threw myself into work because it was easier than sitting with the thoughts that came when everything became quiet. As long as I kept moving, creating, planning, and photographing, I didn't have to face the weight I was carrying. But when the work stops, the silence is loud, and so is my mind.

Lately, I've found myself questioning whether I'm meant to keep going as a photographer. Bookings have become fewer, cancellations more frequent, and each new idea seems to lose its spark when I see the same concept appear somewhere else. I've also had to learn, time and time again, to walk away from hurtful words and crap talking. While I've done my best to turn the other cheek, it doesn't mean those moments haven't left their mark.

The hardest realization hasn't been about my business. It's been about myself.
I've caught myself feeling discouraged when I see others surrounded by support and encouragement. They deserve every bit of it, and I truly believe that. But I've realized that somewhere along the way, my own hurt has begun to change the way I show up. I haven't been listening as well, supporting others as wholeheartedly, or carrying the same light I once did. That isn't the person I want to be.

So I'm choosing to step away.

I will honor every commitment I have for the rest of this year and continue with the private sessions and events I've already accepted.

If our paths are meant to cross again, they will. And for those who truly care, you'll know how to find me.

Thank you to everyone who has believed in me, trusted me, and shared a part of this journey. Those memories will always mean more than you know.
