A couple of beautifully chaotic perfectly imperfect sneaks from this magical day 🥹

I was chatting with Lauren my 2nd for this wedding about Dutch angels and I’m so sorry y’all. But I love them? I don’t get the hate. From a emotive perspective:
Dutch angels just scream “QUICK TAKE A PICTURE OF US BUT WERE GOING BACK TO WHAT WERE DOING”- no matter if it’s perfectly aligned, no matter the circumstances, no pausing to make sure everything is perfect. It FEELS more candid, more in the moment. It’s the same reason people love film so much, it’s FEELS more real in this over processed, over analyzed, overly “perfect” world. There’s a certain level of sterliness to a straight horizon that I can’t explain. Anyways, enjoy these little crooked but iconically alive reception photos.

An iconic love on film and digital today 💋

This wedding was shot mostly documentary style! We didn’t get a whole lot of portrait time but that’s ok, because they were able to be present with their favorite people and they got to spend more time soaking in all the love. Here are a couple of my fav shots of real love in real time.
