Throwing it back to this beautiful day in Napa. I didn’t know it at the time but I was pregnant with Henry during this wedding. I love that our own story can be measured by so many love stories. Larry and Claudia flew me out to Vegas last fall and I am still not over it. We started at the Bellagio, said their vows at a chapel, and ended the night in a private room at Gordon Ramsay’s surrounded by their closest people. A small crew, maybe ten of us total, and every single person there made it feel that much more special. This is what intimate weddings are supposed to feel like. ❤️

Okay, I have to be real with you. Portrait bookings this year have been a lot. Like, a beautiful, overwhelming, swimming-upstream-through-our-edit-log kind of a lot. And I say that with so much gratitude, because the people who trust us with their stories? They are everything.
Especially the ones who come back.
There is something so incredibly special about watching the couples we photographed on their wedding day continue to let us into their lives. Watching them fall deeper in love, grow their families, celebrate anniversaries, bring home puppies. All of it. We are obsessed with following these stories and we feel so honored every single time someone invites us back in.
Which brings me to Yohany and Matt. Yes, these are from January. Yes, I am just now posting them. I have zero regrets because some things are worth taking your time with.
Yohany and Matt were one of those couples that just stayed with us. And we already know, without a single doubt, that they are the most incredible parents. We love you both so much and we are so happy for your little family.

Five years ago I had the honor of capturing Caroline and Adam’s day and I still find myself coming back to these images. The terracotta tones, the details, the way everything just felt so intentional and so them. This is exactly why we do what we do.
Weddings like this remind me that when a vision is executed with so much care and love it truly never ages. This could have been last weekend and I would believe it.
Massive love and credit to the incredibly talented who not only planned every detail of this day but also created the most breathtaking florals. A true artist in every sense.
