Originally from Randolph, NJ, I hold a BFA in Photography from The University of Arizona. Through a lot of experimentation, when it came time to define myself as an artist, the camera had most definitely chosen me. July 2023: I enjoy capturing the desert surroundings of Arizona and New Mexico. The lighting of the southwest US fascinates me as colors and shapes change in an instant. The silhouettes of sandhill cranes to the super bloom of a century plant all offer a canvas to behold.

Tucson, AZ: Saguaro Cacti grow exclusively in the Sonoran Desert of the US and Mexico. The largest cactus species in the US, it can take up to 25 to 30 years to grow an 'arm. Saguaros can reach up to 40 to 60 feet high and are estimated to be 150 to 200 years old.
