Happy Sunday!! I have 4 sessions this week and then also my own senior photos on Saturday! Again a reminder of how much I appreciate you all, 3/4 of my sessions this week are repeat clients and it makes me so happy to know you all trust me enough to keep coming back 🥲❤️❤️❤️ Bought that new lens just in time so I could use it this week too 👀

Helllooooo I’m back after a much needed social media break 🤪🤪🤪 one of the hardest parts about being a photographer that I think isn’t talked about enough is social media burnout…. I completely overworked myself in 2021 so taking a break from social media and just focusing on the photography aspect of my business was so refreshing and much needed. This is your reminder that it’s okay to take breaks!!! Your business and clients will still be there if you don’t post for a while (shoutout to all my amazing clients I love you thank you for being my friends🥲)

Early Thanksgiving post 🦃 An extra special THANK YOU to all of you!!! As I look through my calendar for the next 6 months, 75% of my sessions are repeat clients…. My heart can’t take it!!! I am so thankful to be apart of all of your journeys and to go through so many different stages of life with you! Being trusted as someone’s photographer is already such an honor, but to have the majority of my business be based around clients who continue to come back to me time after time, you have no idea how special that is to me!

As someone who has struggled with mental illness her entire life, I am so grateful to have built this little community and to have all of you be apart of my journey. I always say that social media is a fraction of the story and there is so much the world doesn’t see, and I want you all to know how much your trust and friendship means to me. I am so lucky to have clients who have become friends and who care about me as a person and not just a photographer. I have last track of all the times that I have been really struggling and one of you will ask how I am or tell me how much you love your photos and how great the experience was for you. You never know what someone is going through…So again, thank you all for the little things that help make my day every day 💛 PS - if you’re not in this post I’m sorry, Instagram capped me at 10 pictures 😭

Everyone please send good thoughts my way right now because I am drowning 😅 I leave for vacation on Wednesday, I haven’t started packing, I have a 5 page paper due before I go that I haven’t even started and I need to finish cleaning the house 🙃 Why do I wait until last minute to start a paper that I’ve known about for months? The world may never know...
