We were taught to distrust ourselves.
Don’t be so sensitive.
That’s not what you feel.
Your body isn’t right.
Your reaction is too much.
So we learned to override the signal.
To doubt the instinct.
To abandon the knowing.
We got very good at leaving ourselves.
Finding your way back is not soft work.
It is a decision.
It is deliberate.
It is coming home to the body you were told to question.
It is refusing to abandon yourself again.
To stand inside your own knowing.
To stay.
Unmoved.
