Today we walk our little boy into kindergarten.

As excited as we are for this new chapter, there is a part of us that’s scared too. When you’re raising a child with autism, you don’t just hope they learn and grow. You hope they’re accepted. You hope people are patient, kind, and take the time to understand the amazing little person they are.

It feels like yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital, and somehow today he’s walking into his first classroom.

Landon, we are so incredibly proud of you. Keep being exactly who you are. We’ll always be your biggest fans, and we’ll always be right here cheering you on.

Somewhere between school drop offs, late night homework, and all the little everyday moments, time quietly keeps moving forward. And then one day, you’re taking senior photos and wondering how it all went by so fast.

I’ll be honest… I’ve been terrible about posting lately.

When I’m home, being a mom to Landon comes first—always. 🤍

But I’m making it a priority to show up more and share the moments I’ve been lucky enough to capture, because these beautiful families deserve a place on my feed.

One thing I’ve learned is that the best sessions happen when you follow the toddler’s lead. That’s where the real moments live.

This is the second time I’ve photographed this amazing family, and what makes it even more special… they’re getting ready to welcome a new little bundle of joy🧡
