Made is back to Oahu and just in time. There was a feeding frenzy with our neighborhood Rose-ringed Parakeets. Im really going to miss that 100-500mm Canon Lens paired with the Canon R6 MIII.

Two animals that are domesticated on the mainland are actually considered ferrel or "wild" here in the state of Hawaii. Chickens "Jungle Fowl" (yes she was upset with her new baby chicks) and the Spanish Goat / Sheep (no its not fenced in they hop over these with ease)...there are hundreds of these between Hilo and Kona.

Kilauea's 45th eruption eluded me by mere hours, yet I was able to observe the tail end of a lava flow that was still vigorously active.
