I got a client review tonight that truly took me back.

For context, I met a woman this week for a 20 minute mini photo session. I had never met her before. 24 hours later she booked me for her engagement photos and her wedding, and left me THIS review.

I had never done a photo shoot like this before, and if I’m being completely honest, I was nervous and didn’t really know what to expect. But Nikki has this incredible way about her that immediately makes you feel comfortable and safe. She made me laugh, made me feel beautiful, and most importantly, she made me feel empowered.

For the first time, I wasn’t worried about how I looked or whether I was posing the “right” way. I was actually able to let go, have fun, and just enjoy being in the moment. I walked away from that shoot feeling so much more confident than when I walked in, and that is something I will always be grateful to her for.

What started as a mini shoot of me for my husband turned into an experience I loved so much that I knew I wanted Nikki to be the person who captured some of the biggest and most meaningful moments of our lives. I ended up booking her for our engagement photos and our wedding, and I genuinely could not be more excited!

There is something so special about finding someone who doesn’t just take beautiful pictures, but makes you feel beautiful while taking them. Nikki has that gift. I am so thankful our paths crossed, and I already know that the memories she captures for us will be ones we treasure forever.

If you’re nervous about doing a photo shoot, especially if you’ve never done one before, I cannot recommend Nikki enough. She will make you feel comfortable, confident, beautiful, and completely yourself. I’m so grateful I found her, and I absolutely cannot wait for everything we have ahead! ❤️📸”
