Statement on AI:
AI will be the death of humans when we run out of water and send the climate skyrocketing creating a pressure cooker of heat. There are other ways to cool data centers, but greedy humans will always take the shortest route to profit even if it means depriving other humans of water essentially committing genocide. They are just too stupid to realize that what affects some of us affects all of us because we live in one giant ecosystem.
As an artist, it is even more personal. AI is trained on the work of existing artists so it’s THEFT. I’ve had my art stolen many times over the years, but the difference is I was able to keep creating art and making money because these people were just humans who can’t do what I do.
On a personal note, my AMAZINGLY TALENTED Hazel has stopped posting her artwork online because she cannot abide another person accusing her of using AI. When you accuse autistic people like us of doing something immoral, it is very damaging to our mental health. She hasn’t learned yet that every accusation from humans like this is a confession, like I have.
So we say F**K ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE on this page!!!!
The photo is a quick sketch that Hazel did with her finger in the Notes app on her phone while trying to escape an anxiety induced panic attack. It took her about 2 minutes. It is clearly not AI. 🙄
