This is Mile Square golf course in Fountain Valley, CA. I paid $34 to play it and played in 3.5 hrs at sunset. Most of the holes were forgettable and the first 4 might as well have been the exact same hole. Hell, probably the first 14, I wasn’t paying much attention. Everything is dead flat and only several holes attempted to pique my interest. But I didn’t care one bit. I still got to feel the crispy sensation of sending my 9 iron right at the flag. I could still experience the joy of canning a long curling putt and bombing a massive D. Sometimes, just playing golf is all you need…. that and some hot lighting to make the hot shots pop hot for the Gram.
