Pressure can be positive when it pushes us towards Jesus. There often comes a turning point in life when you finally realize that the goal of pleasing others is impossible. Often this awakening is ushered in by a person who could not love you. That was not your fault.

With great gratitude you forgive your offender, let them go and give thanks for what they taught you: freedom flows from seeking to pursue Christ alone and becoming the woman God created you to be.

Before God can build his dream, he must build your faith and often the pauses in life prepare our hearts to depend on the Dream Builder and not the dream.

Are you experiencing a Holy Pause in your life? The Holy Pause is the time in between when God gives us a dream and when God causes the dream to pass. The Holy Pause can either build or break our faith.

Waiting can make you wonder am I not worthy enough to carry God’s dream? Or did I really hear from him? When this happens double-mindedness can creep in making our faith unstable….. ahhh but when we see Holy pauses as PROVISION to push us to depend on the Lord, we find that the pause was not a “stop” but a season of preparation for our purpose.

God is preparing you in the pause. Rejoice in that today! Can I get an amen?

Judgement subtracts from our life.

It steals our time and mental energy. It’s not our job. It separates us from divine connections.

But also keeps you tied to unhealthy connections through unforgiveness.

It creates pride and blows the flow of Mercy and the power of the Holy Spirit to you. BUT God has a better way!

Mercy multiplies by making room for God to work his miracles. Mercy makes room for people to change. Mercy creates connection and community.

One act of mercy can create a ripple effect of love that is contagious and continues.

Giving mercy increases your capacity to receive mercy. CHOOSE MERCY!

Redirect your efforts from fixing your behavior to shaping your beliefs as you sit at the feet of Jesus.

Plugging into the presence of Jesus grows healthy roots that lead to healthy fruit.

Changes challenge this illusion of security: “If I am in control of my circumstances, I am secure.”

Ahh but God has something greater for our security. A divine perfect love that NEVER CHANGES.

Treasured One, while life will always carry unexpected change, God’s love never changes.

Let changes that rattle your soul be an invitation to lean on Jesus and grow deeper in your relationship with him.

The Word of God says that Perfect Love, not perfect circumstances, is what will cast out fear. (1 John 4:18) Your victory today and always is through surrender.

Ever notice how something that is beneficial can also be a burden?

For example, a lantern sheds a beautiful glow lighting a pathway – yet it also attracts bugs.

In similar fashion, when we step out and shine by walking out our purpose, we will reflect God’s glory but also attract critics.

And if we fear rejection, we might hide our purpose instead of letting our light shine on a hilltop (Matthew 5:44).

But you can disarm the fear of rejection by remembering your divine connection.

Live for the applause of heaven not the approval of men and keep on shining
