July 31, 1999 What a beautiful, yet faint memory! It's so understandable how, in the whirlwind of planning and excitement, the little moments can slip through the cracks. The image of saying "I Do" barefoot on the beach with Lake Tahoe as the backdrop sounds magical, even if the details got lost in the rush of it all. This milestone was so big and full of love that it became hard to grasp every piece of it.

I recall the crystal glass for our champagne toast, still full during our last dance for the night. This felt like a symbolic moment in itself — something left untouched at the end of such a busy and beautiful day. Sometimes, the memories that stick are those moments where we realize the things we meant to savor didn't quite happen the way we envisioned.
