Behind The Print: As soon as I graduated college I packed my car up and headed west. The goal was to make it to Truckee so I could go skiing at Palisades Tahoe. I stopped to take photos along the way in Texas and the Grand Canyon before I finally made it into California. I took this photo at the Hot Creek Geologic Site near Mammoth Lakes.

Behind The Print: I really wanted to shoot groomers this week after getting a photo idea in my head earlier that week. I hit up Taylor Carlton and we went out to Alpine to rip some groomers. He crushed it for me and I came away with some images im super stoked on!

Behind The Print: Another morning running around shooting new snow. The goal this morning was to capture patroller getting onto snocats before they head out for control work.

Behind The Print: After COVID shut down the ski resorts, I made my way back East the long way. Went West and headed towards the CA coast so I could spend 3 more nights adventuring before I had to spend 3 straight days driving. Ended up taking this photo of Morro Rock at the very last turn out before I had to leave the ocean.

Behind The Print: This was my first time entering Yosemite via Tioga Pass. I made some stops are the familiar spots and then ran around a little bit for sunset.

Behind The Print: It was March 2023 and I was trying to see if the snow that fell was any good. No one had been up to High Camp in a couple of days so I was eager to see what was going on up there after the storm cleared up. Turns out the snow was terrible as it had snowed, then warmed up, then frozen back over. Cool textures to shoot but not so much ski!

Found this gem at the local thrift store. I was drawn to the frame for the red matte + white frame combo. I thought it would be perfect for some and white photos from my archive. How do you think I did?
