Today is the last day of in Italy, a weeks-long festival that culminated in parades and parties this weekend, as well as kids’ celebrations at school today.
Venice is best known for its Carnevale celebrations, hence the beautiful masks sold year-round! But here in Bologna it’s more of a kids’ and families’ holiday. And since we all have the latest daycare plague, we took it easy and enjoyed a short walk in the sun this weekend.
Outfit-wise, this is one of those times when I’m wearing all my favorites! Secondhand designer outfits are where it’s at.
Dress is from —did you know they sell ’s retired pieces?? Talk about pre-loved! And shoes: also secondhand from , a brand as fabulously Italian as it gets. Bag is no-name but also secondhand—I bought it as a little consolation prize when I discovered a purse in a consignment shop I had been lusting over was actually Fendi and way out of my price range even used 🙊 I love the bright pink of the tote! And the mask, of course, is from Venice 💘
