Leighann And Coty - Addison Oaks, Buhl Estate
Check out all the action sequences in my favorite photos later in the post.
Leighann is a planner extraordinaire. Like me, she wanted to have things mapped out so she could visualize her wedding day sequentially to minimize the surprises. We chatted at the beginning of the year to go through her day so she could make fully informed decisions well in advance. Turns out, she and Coty's wedding day last Friday was the best weather of the Memorial Day week at the always fabulous Addison Oaks, Buhl Estate.
With all the nitty, gritty details out of the way, Leighann was relaxed and able to thoroughly enjoy herself. We got ahead of schedule with all the photos beforehand (which almost never happens), so they both had more down time than expected.
Without a "First Look" (except the one with Leighann's Dad), they both stayed pretty chill. It was interesting to see both of them with their families first for photos. They both have a goofy, fun sense of humor and loved showcasing their personalities for me in such a similar way. You'll see the humor comes naturally from their parents and sibs, but there was a LOT of playfulness from both of them.
By the time the ceremony came along, everyone was relaxed and in a great mood. The only hitch came after the family photos were done when Leighann thought a bee had flown down her dress. Turns out later in the night, she realized she was missing an earring. That was the "bee", but after covering a lot of ground at Addison Oaks, the earring was gone. I can think of a lot of places it might have disappeared, but the missing jewelry never really changed the visual look.
Coty and Leighann also had one of the first "cake smashes" I've seen in a long time, especially one where she just laughed right along with Coty. These two giggly, sweat, nurturing people were truly made for each other.
