This was the year I purchased my very first Nikon DSLR. Traveling and photography had been my passions. Documenting my parent's travel here in the US motivated me to learn how to use my camera. Eventually, having a family and kids, capturing their special milestones and important events just led me to hold on to what my heart desires the most, documenting life and God's creations through photogra
phy! Photography saved me mentally, emotionally and spiritually. I know, it is weird! But it is the most honest statement I can share to you. My father passed away in the fall of 2019. It was heart breaking to say the least. I thank God I was left with a lot of wonderful memories of my father through photos and videos that I captured all these years. This year had been tough due to the pandemic but this year opened so many opportunities for me and my photography. I am not the best in town, my style might not be ideal that people might look for but I take photos from the heart that you will treasure forever. The encouragements I get from people around me motivated me to launch this business. This business came about because of Matthew 6:21 from Jesus' words..."For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." This statement had been speaking to my heart for awhile. Thus came my photography tag line, "Capturing where your heart is!"
I joined the Metro Detroit Mommy team last June 2020. I had been documenting different places to explore in Metro Detroit for their website and social media accounts.
