My last family shoot! We got a little shy guy at the beginning, which is honestly great. I wind up with more detail shots when I get a shy kiddo. For me, the detail shots help capture the feeling of the moment. What does his little hand placed in dad's hand say to you? What does the big embrace into mom's hair feel like? Security, warmth, love. All of the things that make time on this rock well worth it.

This rounded out the end of my family shoots around Thanksgiving and my books have been closed since then. In the meantime, I've been working full steam ahead with Bird Creek Whiskey, getting everything ready for the tasting room and to sell bottles online. I've been traveling with my fella to see where we'll end up next in our life. And most importantly, I've been spending time with my own family and friends, experiencing all the security, warmth and love I strive to catch in a photoshoot.

Howdy! I upgraded the gallery host storage and now I can store albums longer. A whole TB of space to work with! I had to slim down and remove albums over the last few weeks to make room for some larger wedding albums.

It's the perfect time to print out that photo of your offspring for your mother-in-law. She doesn't want another sweater this Christmas, I promise. She wants photos to show to her friends.

You can go for a classic photo paper print or really get fancy with a glass, bamboo or metal print. You can enter the print shop from the tool bar at the top of your album or the top of your favorite photo.

Now is also a great time to place your holiday card orders. Orders placed now will arrive well before the holidays, giving you plenty of time to lick envelopes or curl ribbons. 🎁

Hi y'all!

Please make sure to download your gallery within 30 days of receiving it.

I pay for storage through my gallery host, but I've been running through that quickly with new shoots coming in. It is up to YOU to download your photos within 30 days. I have been deleting albums from last year but will begin to delete from this year soon.

There is no guarantee that I will still have your album in my editing software. That regularly gets cleaned out as well to keep my editor up at a high functioning speed.

If you are past your 30 days and need your photos re-uploaded to the gallery host, there is a fee for my time spent exporting and reuploading.

Thanks for understanding. This is a business that costs me money to run, edit, store, host.

I woke up whistlin' "Gooooood morning, good morning!" and it continued over to my early senior session.

If ya know me at all, I am notoriously no good in the mornings. I'm a smidge hungry and cranky, frankly I can't wait to be unconscious again.

I guess photos put me in a great mood no matter the circumstances. Even if it's 35° and I have to bundle into the Arctic jacket. Even if I've been sick with an endless cold from hell. This is the best I've felt all week, and it's just because I got to get outside and fling my camera around.

Thanks to all that have made 2022 worth waking up early for.

My last wedding for awhile! My face hurts from scream laughing. This bunch was balls to the wall, hilarious to shoot and they danced until their feet fell off.

I'm so happy to have ended my season on such a high note. Thank you to all the couples that made me a part of their sacred day this year. You truly honor me. Nothing in this world is better than hearing the words "best photographer ever" on your best day ever.

I've laughed harder than I can compute, cried more than most thought necessary, and relished in every moment of love and joy. You, your love, your guests, have made my life worthwhile. If I'm here on this Earth for such a short while, I might as well document its inhabitants having a kickass time while they revel in your happiness.

Thank you to my second shooters that have made this wedding season possible. I would not be where I am without your incredible, unwavering help. You are truly gems in my world.

This is the best job I've ever had. Goodnight, Trout Lake, I love you!
