“tell everybody i’m on my way…” and just like that, a little brother bear is joining our story in October/november 🧸✨

I’ve been saying I’m going through it guys!! This year has had a lot of lows for me and our family. I’m so glad to be able to finally share this news with everyone. We’re so excited to meet baby boy and have all of the joy & light this blessing will bring. 🩵

Long ago, before the emails and the to-do lists and the laundry piles,
there were stories about wandering through forests and becoming someone new along the way.

I like to think those stories never really left us.
They just show up in small, unexpected moments when the light hits right, the leaves crunch louder, and the world feels a little softer.

This was one of those days.
A tiny escape into something magical. Walking in to a new realm.
Lost in the day.
Lost in the story.
Lost in the fantasy. ⚔️

Some of my favorite sessions happen when we throw the “perfect pose” rulebook out the window and just let the little ones lead the way.
Running, giggling, climbing, snack breaks, grass stained knees and all. 🤍

I also always find myself thinking about the music when I’m posting a session. Not just what sounds good, but what feels like the story. The rhythm of little feet running around, the bursts of laughter, the quiet moments of parents watching their babies be brave.

Every family looks different. Every love story is unique. And every kind of family is welcome here, always.

This session felt like a sunny afternoon playlist to me. A little wild, a little tender, and full of the kind of memories you’ll want to replay again and again. 😌

The girl that’s wearing all the hats!! Who knew this little kid with big creative dreams would grow up to be the CEO, accountant, marketing team, CSR and then some of her own photography business?! 😍

Little me dreamed of an art filled life. i spent extra time in art classes in elementary school, I was VP of my high school’s art club, I studied culinary arts, digital art, I went to college just for the arts programs, etc. I truly never thought photography was what would fill my heart, I just knew I was meant for the arts & crafts realm. The business side is not always my favorite, though. I am not a corporate girlie, so sometimes the admin and clerical work is a struggle for me with running a business. But I am still thriving and growing!! 👏🏻

where time slows down for like… five seconds. 🥹

Everyone fades out.
The noise disappears.
& it’s just the two of them.

That’s the moment we, as artists, live for.
That’s the one that matters

I think I’ll always be in love with love.

Not the loud kind.
Not the perfect kind.
But the steady, aching, undeniable kind.

The kind that feels like standing close enough to hear someone’s breath and knowing you’re exactly where you’re meant to be.

There’s something about witnessing it that gets me every time.
Two people deciding, again and again, that this is it.

I’m very much a lover girl at heart.
Maybe that’s why I’ll never get tired of photographing it.
Love, when it’s real, has a gravity to it.

And I’m always pulled in 🥹🤍
