I’ve spent the past several days trying to write the perfect mission statement because according to all of my research, that is the first step and single most important factor in creating a successful business plan. I’m not sure if I failed miserably or if I actually discovered what my true mission or vision for Talking Bodies is as a result. Something relatable. My goal is not to attract more cl

ients than I could personally handle or to make more money than I need to live comfortably. My goal is to build a brand image that identifies with who I am as a person and stands out from the competition for it’s transparency and honesty. My name is Destiny Sigford. I’m the amateur behind the camera� and probably the worst social media marketer you’ve ever met. I am 28 years old, a mother of two beautiful little girls�, a Libra�, and a self-love advocate�. Growing up, I was very insecure. I was hiding my body in oversized sweatshirts even before social media started influencing the way we interpret beauty and the human form. It wasn’t until I got older and started gaining confidence in who I am as a person that I made it my mission to become a woman who loves herself. Last year, I booked a bo***ir appointment and despite all of my fears and anxiety about what the end result would be, I’ve never felt more beautiful or empowered in my life. I knew in that moment that I wanted to be an advocate for other women on their journey’s to self-discovery. I started spending all of my free time learning as much as I could about cameras, editing software, posing, and lighting through research and finally decided the rest would come through experience. So, in February 2021 I bought a camera and in March, Talking Bodies Bo***ir Photography was born.�
