These kinds of posts should be limited to contacting local colleges and schools so beginner photographers can get experience.
These kind of posts with sooo many photographers clamoring to do the session for pennies only makes clients think they can pay the photographer less than what their time and education is worth!
Stop wasting your time, experience, artistic talent and education on people that don’t want to pay you for what you’re worth.
If they want free then they can give their cellphone to their friend to snap pics!!

Gnarly Beauty ✨
This sea conch tells a story of the ocean. The power of water, sand and sun.
It's aged, weathered, and completely one of a kind.
I love the playing with light to exaggerate the details in every crack, ridge and curve - proof of a life lived in the waves.
Celebrate the beauty in the imperfections.

A Day Late, But Worth Celebrating 📷

Yesterday was World Photography Day, and while I may be a day late, I couldn’t let it pass without sharing one of my favorite recent images.

This weathered conch shell caught my eye because of everything it has been through. Seashells are beautiful when they are smooth and perfect, but I find something even more captivating in the ones scarred by the sea.

The nooks. The cracks. The chips. The worn edges.

Every mark tells a little story. And even in the damage, there is strength. There is beauty. There is character.

Photography has a way of reminding me to slow down and really look at the things around me. Beauty doesn’t have to be flawless to be worth noticing. Sometimes, the imperfections are what make us stop and look a little longer.

Happy belated World Photography Day. Here’s to finding beauty in the details, the weathered edges, and everything in between.

This was absolutely an amazing and rewarding experience! I learned that there were 420 entries from 25 different states!! And my photograph was 1 of 106 chosen to be in this show!
I didn’t win but this experience has my inspiration juices flowing! I loved seeing my work next to sooo many amazing pieces of art! 📸❤️🩷🥰
It was also a wonderful surprise to see a fellow WCHS classmate art on show!

I am incredibly honored and excited to have my work included in the upcoming 2026 Bank of the Arts National Juried Exhibition at the Craven Arts Council & Gallery in New Bern, NC.
