I wanted to put a face to the page for anyone who is new around here or hasn’t heard the story behind what I do.
I love watching people pursue what they are passionate about. I see it in my own family, and I see it every time I look through the camera lens.
Standing on the sidelines or on the floor isn’t just about taking pictures for me. It’s a ticket you can’t buy, putting me right in the middle of the raw emotion, the intensity, and the drive of kids and adults doing what they love. In a lot of ways, I get to live vicariously through them, freezing those split-second moments where all that hard work shows up.
Holding onto that kind of energy means a lot to me because I know what it feels like when it’s completely gone. About seven years ago, I fought heavy battles with depression and anxiety, and I reached a point where I nearly ended my own life.
When I picked up a camera a few years later, surviving that dark time completely shaped how I saw people through the lens. It’s why su***de prevention is so personal to me - I personally lived it. Capturing someone’s strength and passion is my way of looking out for others, showing people their own value, and reminding anyone fighting silent battles that they are seen, they matter, and their story isn’t over.
When I’m not behind the camera or managing projects at the fab shop, I love spending time with my family and taking in those same moments with them.
I’m truly grateful for all the connections and genuine relationships this work has brought into my life. Thank you for being here and supporting what I do.
Thanks Arpan Bose for catching me in the moment!
