Teddy left this morning for his first day of his senior year at...well, you can see the clock. Yes, it was still dark outside. The seniors were having a sunrise vigil on the football field. It's a school tradition that we think is really sweet. At the end of the year, on the last day of school, they have a sunset vigil.

Teddy claims to be six feet tall. He might be, but he has not taken his quarterly Nick Kelsh micrometer height examination. I will have to get back to you on that one.

Anne shot this photograph with her slightly aging iPhone without the benefit of having taken my iPhone photography course. Shame.

Anne here, with snapshots that admittedly do not represent all I've learned from Nick over the years...and let's face it, this is not the fanciest of birthday dinners, but a quick local bite after watching Teddy in a very cold baseball game.

Not sure whether the first shot is my composition faux pas, or if I just happened to capture Nick having a brilliant idea!!💡🤣 Since I know he's been talking about composition lately, I did then shift my point of view to reposition that lightbulb.

(When seeing the pics later Nick said, "Yes, I did indeed have a bright idea... it dawned on me that I should create a course focusing solely on composition to teach people like you all the various things to watch for and consider when composing a photo!"

Okay, guess I'll be the first to sign up.)
