So honored to have gotten to capture the tail end of the baby bump phase for one of my closest friends, Desiree Chandler, in this maternity shoot.

We were given all the challenges - from having to move up the shoot by a week and do it on the fly between contractions, baby dropping and distorting her belly all over the place, and extreme discomfort for her (due to her going into false labor that day), her not being able to leave the house to go to the original location for that reason, dim/limited lighting (or extremely bright depending on where we could shoot in the house), and soooo much rain…. but so happy with all the love and beauty captured in this impromptu shoot, regardless of the challenges. 🙂

*there are a few more that will be added to the shoot later, but had to edit fast so these could get posted before he’s born - so check back later to see the rest once they are done!

SO HAPPY FOR YOU DESIREE AND RICK, and can’t wait to meet the little guy soon!!! Thank you for letting me be involved in such an important chapter of your life! XOXO

It hits a certain heartstring when you’ve been friends since you were kids, and now you photograph theirs.
Love more than I can say that I get to watch this little guy grow year after year thru my lens, but even better, in real life.
