Prom is such an exciting event, but it’s all the behind-the-scenes effort from students, sponsors, parents, and everyone involved that really makes the magic happen.

By Thursday night, I was getting my equipment ready—charging batteries, double-checking lists, and making sure everything was set for both the gym and the memorial building. With help from my amazing husband on Friday, everything came together, and Saturday turned into a whirlwind of photos.

My trigger finger might be a little sore today, but it’s always worth it. There’s something special about seeing everyone dressed up, having fun, and just enjoying the night. I can always tell it was a good evening when I catch myself smiling while going through the photos afterward.

It means even more when it’s a community I know so well. I’m grateful to be able to capture these moments for the school and contribute in a small way to preserving the memories—especially for things like the yearbook.
