Okay I’m not okay because Katrina + Logan just got featured on and I am BEAMING!

This day was so good. Like genuinely one of those weddings where you leave feeling full.

The emotion, the laughter, the energy of people who were just so happy to be there celebrating two people they love.

Brindare Napa Valley doing what it does best, looking like you got transported somewhere in Tuscany for the day.

Two people completely in love, a guest list that brought the energy from start to finish, and honestly??? This one deserved it.

Some days it’s editing until midnight, answering emails between snack breaks, and wondering if I’m doing any of it well enough.
But then I look at my girls and remember — this is the point.
I want them to watch me build something. To see that hard work and intention actually create a life. To grow up knowing that when they want something, they go get it.
Being my own boss means I don’t miss the moments that matter. I’m present when they need me, and I’m still building something I’m proud of.
I’m not just running a business. I’m showing them what’s possible.

The most common thing I hear on a wedding day isn’t about my photos. It’s ‘how are you so calm?’

The truth is, I still get nervous.
I still feel the pressure.

I just make sure that by the time I walk through that door, I’ve already done everything I can to be ready for whatever comes.

It’s not about being perfect. It’s about being prepared.

The ones who made us who we are.

Who stayed up late, showed up early, and never once stopped believing in us. Even when we stopped believing in ourselves.

Who taught us how to love, how to be loved, and what it looks like to stand by someone through absolutely everything.

On our wedding days, they’re right there again.

Zipping us up. Steadying us. Holding the train so we don’t trip on the way to the rest of our lives.

And later, dancing like it’s their celebration too.

Because it is.

It always has been.

There’s something that happens when things go sideways.

When you’re soaking wet and laughing so hard you can barely stand, you stop performing. You stop thinking about your hair or your pose or how you look. You just hold onto each other and let it be chaotic and fun and real.

That’s what i’m always chasing. Not the perfect light or the perfect location. The moment where you forget i’m even there.

So if you’re planning an engagement session with me, say yes to the weird.

Run toward the waves.

When you hear “candid wedding photos,” you probably think reactions, hugs, happy tears…

…but candid goes way beyond people.

•It’s the table full of empty drinks → yeah, everyone was having a good time.
•The pearl handbag → your guests understood the assignment.
•The spicy margs → because they’re your favorite and obviously had to make an appearance 🌶️
•Your dog on the cocktail napkins → because he’s your baby, period.
•Your dog later… finding a parasol and deciding it’s his new chew toy 🐶
•The passed apps → the ones you tasted and immediately said “our guests are going to love these.”
•The ceremony program → intentional, thoughtful, words that actually mean something.
•The end of the night tables → drinks everywhere, half eaten desserts, everything a little undone… in the best way.
