Sarah and Jessamy always let me do my thing and for that, I am grateful.

I’ve been traveling out to their house year after year and during our sessions they play music, they joke and laugh, they take walks around the property and I… follow them 🙌🏼

Getting to photograph you at the cusp of parenthood is an honor-

I thought about that tonight while I was putting my six-year-old daughter to sleep…

I looked around her room and saw uniqueness, perseverance, creativity and individuality. After losing all her toys, she’s still managed to create a sanctuary for herself in her bedroom that felt like her..

Watching you grow a baby, birth a human and see you 365 days later, being parent/ through year one… eventually to have a 6 year old who is doing what my daughter is doing now…

Like I said … an honor.

Ohhhhhhhh this little cutie who doesn’t know it yet, but her parents trusted me with documenting their maternity, newborn and their babies first birthdayyyy 🎂

You have learned and grown fast! The way you held your hand out to me and wanted to sit on my lap was melting my entire HEART.

An inquiry came to me the other day and I can’t believe I’ve never heard this before, but it clicked so deep.

“I have honestly really just started the search process for a photographer, I work in marketing and so before I started reaching out to anyone, I sat down and kind of made some sort of brand guidelines and when it came to photography, I really want photography that captures those in between moments, the candid shots, I want to look back at the photos and be able to feel the emotion”

What a way to search for your photographer. By her preemptively setting guidelines in what she and her partner resonate with, she is able to find and connect and not get overwhelmed ✌🏼also, honored that she saw that in my work.

Piggy backing off my last post;

Hello 2026 couples + future clients for this year ✌🏼

I am a different person after what happened … changed in a forceful way, thankful nonetheless.

In the spirit of authenticity and honesty … I’m leaning in. I’m leaning into anticipating a very strange year- with lots of decisions in my personal / professional life.

I had a beautiful, long awaited booking call with a 2026 bride tonight (hi Eunice!)

I re-read a previous couples timeline I had sent to her and I love how I wrote “look at the cake, aHAHA”
*see 7hr timeline in stories* 👌🏼

That was a queue that the couple wanted to ‘notice their cake at some point and poteeeeentially cut it’ but not necessarily have an audience, ya know?

I love the “getting to know you” part of this career.
The people that reach me are MY PEEEEOPLE and I hold their trust so deeply in my heart.

On that note, HELLO 2026 couples! See you so soon!
