I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…the best photos aren’t just seen, they’re felt.

…barefoot in the sand, 🌊 waves chasing their ankles, laughter carried by the wind…

This couple had never taken professional photos together before. What you don’t see are the nerves at the start, the stiffness, the ‘what do I do with my hands?’

What you see is comfort replacing nerves and love doing what it does best.

I love being able to bring that out in people.

I'm still grinning from ear to ear thinking about this family session! It was one of those special ones where everything just fell into place. The mom booked it to coincide with both grandmothers' visits, which was already pretty cool. But what she didn't know was that the dad had a secret plan up his sleeve... he messaged me privately to help him pull off a surprise proposal!

The session was a blast, and I lost it when their tiny three-year-old yelled out "Just give me the monay!!!" 💵 (I mean, who doesn't love a good TikTok reference?) And the cherry on top was finding out one of the grandmothers was the mastermind behind teaching him that phrase! 😅

As we wrapped up, I could tell the dad was getting nervous, but he played it cool. And then, the moment of truth... he proposed! But the real showstopper was their little one, who grabbed the ring and asked his mom to marry his dad. It was such a beautiful, genuine moment, and I feel so lucky to have been a part of it. No script or posing could've made that moment more perfect. 🥰

Love is a beautiful adventure, but it's not always easy. As we watch power couples like JLo and Ben Affleck say ‘I don’t’, it's a reminder that even the most seemingly perfect relationships can face challenges.

But here's the thing: love is worth fighting for. It's worth growing together, laughing together, and sometimes, it's worth starting anew.

I’ve never shared these pics I took from a few years ago at the iconic Little White Chapel in Las Vegas - but it’s the same place JLo and Ben said 'I do' and I'm just reminded of the beauty and promise of love.

To my current and future couples, don't be discouraged by the headlines. Instead, focus on building a love that's strong, resilient, and true to who you are as individuals and as a team.

Remember, love is a journey, not a destination. And sometimes, it's the imperfections and ups and downs that make it all the more worth it.
