12 years as a career Firefighter, and it’s hard to get my adrenaline pumping. 🔥

The Norsefyre crew was up for the challenge & brought the heat with an incredible performance. For once, I wasn’t thinking about fire science, suppression, or risk mitigation. I was simply enjoying the show.

Sometimes you just need to step away from the job and enjoy the chaos 🔥

Beautiful outdoor senior photos are always a great choice, but adding a studio session at the end is a fun way to mix things up and make the photos even more personal!

Tatum brought along her prized vinyl records and K-pop memorabilia, giving us a chance to capture some of the things she loves most. 🎶📸

Senior photos should be about more than just getting a few great portraits. They should capture a little bit of who you are!

Had my camera sitting in the front seat between events last night, and as nice as it was outside, I couldn’t help but snap a few photos at the stoplights! 📸

My studio is in the Columbian Building, pictured here, which was built in 1888! This place has so much character, inside and out.

Aside from having to Photoshop out a few parking signs and “for lease” signs, there are some great opportunities to get creative and capture some cool shots right here along Kansas Ave. Sometimes you don’t have to go far to find something worth photographing!

Opening night at the Topeka Renaissance festival 🏰 Vendors were open, and there was a pretty entertaining Halloween costume contest. Here are a few of my favorite photos from the evening! 📸

There are plenty more photos to come! I’ll be putting together a free gallery on my website as soon as I can. Since it’s my busy season, it may take me a little time to get everything edited and uploaded, but it’ll be worth the wait!

Stay tuned for more! 🤘

Had a vacation day and was able to get some editing done on some recent photo shoots. Here’s a few more from the Cooper Fam!

Another sneak peek! 📸

The Singleton family was so much fun to work with! There’s nothing like loading up all the lighting gear on a side-by-side, crossing creek bridges, and working the family dog into the photos when he decided to wander into the shot! 🐕

The weather was perfect, the sunset was beautiful, and we couldn’t have asked for a better evening! 🌅

Love seeing my work help promote great events and people in the local community!

Another busy weekend helping some amazing families capture special moments! 📸
Here are a couple sneak peeks from one of my recent shoots. Amazing people, an incredible property, and one heck of a sunset. 🌅
Grateful for the opportunity to capture these moments and make memories that last!

I took exactly 1 video at the barrel racing event this weekend. The ending 🔥

Shooting in low light with fast-moving subjects can be a challenge, but when you capture moments like these, every bit of the struggle is worth it! Constantly adjusting camera settings, fighting the lighting, and getting creative with editing can be a headache, but the excitement and intensity of these moments make it all worthwhile. These ladies never cease to impress me with their drive, determination, and toughness. I walked in to find one on the ground after getting run into the fence, and shortly after, I caught a few shots of another getting thrown from her horse. Thankfully, both got back up and walked away! Moments like these remind me why I love capturing action photography. One of these days, I’m going to convince them to let me set up a few lights so I can get some truly primo shots! Kansas NBHA 📸 🐎
