Is this not the sweetest thing EVER??
Ahhhhh, those toddler years... the time where you want to remember every single thing they do (and forget it all too). How they mispronounce words and show their independence, like it's the most important thing in the world (because to them, it is). We are ready for it ALL, snacks in hand. They NEED us at every moment and yet... some time to ourselves would be nice, right? And some quiet? But then, our heart aches for them. We think about the little things they did or the ground shaking tantrum earlier in the day. What could we have done differently? Time to read another article on parenting, I suppose...
But the truth is, toddlerhood is fleeting. It's all consuming and yet gone in a flash. But if we remember nothing else, we remember our toddlers, clutching snacks to their chest and blowing dandelions.
