It would mean so much to me if you could take some time out of your day to read, react, comment on, and share this story - not just for me, but for the incredible women at the heart of it!

Kristen’s birth was one that was themed around abundant joy, love, and a birth team who truly supported her through and through. Her birth experience was rooted solely in her faith in Jesus Christ and held by her husband Travis, a steadfast rock. She was respected and uplifted throughout her journey and it made the world of a difference. Her words in this story are remarkable and her experience was nothing short of one of God’s great miracles.

I am here to honor the incredible transformation of birth while allowing all other members of the birth team focus fully on their roles. The images and words shared here are always shared with full permission of those involved.

As a birth photographer, I do SO much more than just take pics on a fancy camera. I document your entire experience in both professional images and written word. These stories are co-created after the birth, blending my observations with the parent's personal reflections as well as the notes I document through out the birth experience.

I typically schedule Studio Newborn Sessions during weekdays. I shoot for 10am, Noon, etc. I do this help keep my evening and weekend hours open for outdoor sessions! This usually works well for families, but sometimes we end up with hardworking fathers stuck at work during newborn sessions, or other weekday interferences.

When a family shows up and tells me an important member couldn’t make it, I’ll often offer to opt out of the studio family photos and schedule an outdoor family session! (This is NOT required, just something I like to offer!) Sometimes families know in advance and want to split their session up.

I’m very flexible and want my clients to have all of those important moments and people included.

Here are a few favorites from the Brickei family portion of their newborn session! It was a beautiful afternoon and we got a lot of great smiles from these kiddos!

We've come a long way since that summer in
2018. We have 4 babies now. We both work stay home, raising them and building our photography business together. We're chasing our dreams. We're building a life for our babies that we never could have imagined. He is and always will be my number one supported and my rock.

This Save the Date session was definitely out of my comfort zone! It was something very new to me, but also something very important! They came all the way from Lyons, Kansas for this session! I loved the ideas they brought, the gown, the sign, and of course her gorgeous crown! Hana and her family were so much fun to work with and I hope to see them again!!

These were photographed in our studio here in SW Topeka! Our space is great for headshots, seniors, and evening branding sessions! We get pretty creative here! Glitter sessions are especially a favorite of mine, so it's a fun way to elevate your session and have fun!

We host Mommy & Me mini sessions every year for Mother's Day. These, as well as our Daddy & Me sessions, and Fall Family mini sessions are always some of my favorites throughout the year.

I love seeing clients who return again and again. I love documenting them through the years and watching them and their babies grow. I remember following baby George's pregnancy along on Facebook and now he is so big!!

Thank you for coming to our Mother's Day minis! Keep an eye out for Father Day minis! We will host them at Clarion Woods again. This trail is one of my favorite spots to shoot at! It's perfect for images worthy of your walls!
