There is something so special about a wedding day that truly keeps the focus where it belongs: on the bride and groom, the people they love most, and the moments they will remember forever.

Leah and Bill’s wedding was exactly that.

Their beautiful, intimate wedding day began in East Aurora, New York, at Leah’s father’s gorgeous home and property. If you have ever dreamed about having a backyard wedding but still want it to feel elegant, personal, and completely unique, this was the perfect example of how incredible that can be. These family photo shoots really make me so happy! Meet the Ladd family. I've been working with them as Becky put it "for all of their most important" moments in life. Love that our life allows us to travel and see family all over the country! It’s been such a fun last couple of weeks!

I can’t WAIT to go to the Outer Banks with my sis, the kids and my Mama this week!

Couldn't resist posting a bigger sneak peek of all the fun had with Tim & Kendal the other day for their surprise proposal!

I love these sooo much.
#1 It's super sweet for a guy to take the time to plan something like this out.
#2 It really does make that moment so special.
#3 As a woman, I think this is my favorite thing to do currently besides squishy babies #4 What a great way to get cute couples photos professionally done!

Lately I've caught myself thinking about how lucky I am to do what I do. I get to watch families grow year after year, I celebrate seniors as they're getting ready for whatever comes next. I'm there on wedding days to photograph moments that only happen once, and somehow, so many of you have trusted me to be a small part of those memories.

My small business. This business that I took a chance on almost 14 years ago now! I was scared, excited and terrified of how it would go. But here I am.

I don't ever want to lose sight of how special that is.

Whether we've worked together before or you've just been following along here, thank you for being here. Thank you for supporting my little business, cheering me on, and trusting me with the moments that matter most, I really TRULY appreciate each and every one of you! I really do have the best clients, and I can't wait to make more memories with all of you this summer.
