Senior season has my whole heart.

There is something so special about being the one behind the camera when a kid steps into this next chapter. As a mom, I know how fast it goes and how much these moments mean. You want to remember everything about who they are right now, on the edge of everything.

But this session? This one got me.

This is my niece. My girl. The one they call Little Tia because apparently we are the same person just a few (like 21) years apart. Watching her grow into the young woman she is has been one of my favorite things, and getting to be the one to capture this moment for her family, for our family, was everything.

She is headed to UTSA and she is so ready. I could not be more proud.
To every senior out there, congratulations. You did it. And to every parent and tia and mom watching from the sidelines trying not to cry, I see you.

Thank you for letting me be a part of the journey. It never gets old. 🤍

I know, I know. Two years of silence, and I pop back up on a Thursday. But hear me out.

Today I'm photographing headshots at a The Jefa Society event, and honestly, there's no better way to return. The Jefa Society is a powerhouse networking community for women focused on branding, business growth, mentorship, and real connections. Some of you may be aware but I started a full time marketing job for a big company earlier this year. That’s part of the reason I’ve been booking so quickly and haven’t been as active on social media. So I’m about to bombard you guys with photos from the fall and winter over the next week! These pictures are from a home session of one my close friends before their family moved to Cairo, Egypt! I definitely miss them. It’s hard having friends in the oil and gas industry. We move a lot!
