Some projects just feel easy in the best way. There was a smooth kind of rhythm working alongside Stephanie to capture this project.

Stephanie’s design carried a quiet refinement that was thoughtfully layered and beautifully composed... but it was her calm, gracious presence that set the tone for the entire shoot.

Some projects just feel special from the start, and seeing this one in print makes it even sweeter.

This amazing home, designed by , was recently featured in the Feb/March issue of American Farmhouse Style , and it’s easy to see why. Classic materials, thoughtful layering, and a warmth that feels both timeless and deeply livable, the kind of home that invites you in and makes you feel fully welcomed.

Working with Sarah and her amazing team is truly a treat. It’s always so evident how much Sarah’s clients LOVE her and how truly proud they are of their homes.

Sarah’s gift for designing expertly curated homes AND southern hospitality runs deep. Sarah made homemade lemon bars to use for the styling yes, but she also made them as treats for us; needless to say it was the sweetest drive back to Houston enjoying every last bite. 🤍

This teen ensuite is such a FUN space 😍

Sweet but not childish. Polished but still playful. The prettiest mix of soft pinks, warm brass, tailored details, and just enough personality to make it feel totally her. From the patterned wallpaper to the sassy shower curtain and that pop of color on the lamp — every detail feels thoughtful, layered, and full of charm.

Okay I have to ask… this room gives major vibes of a certain store 👀✨

Confession: I gave myself permission to fully unplug last week ... no posting, no planning, no “I should be doing more.” Just rest, real life, and room to breathe.

And coming back to this stunning project I shot before Thanksgiving felt like the perfect re-entry.

There’s something about spaces like these, the soft, tonal layers, the quiet textures, the intentional calm that weaves into every detail of this primary suite, that really reminds me why slowing down matters.

The way the artwork echoes a state of retreat, the warmth of the wood, the serenity of that soaking tub… it’s design that doesn’t demand attention, yet holds it effortlessly. It invites you to exhale. To pause. To be present.

Exactly what last week gave me.

If this season has taught me anything, it’s that inspiration doesn’t come from constant output, it comes from creating space to notice beauty again. And projects like this make it easy.
