Ya know, I really tried to make sure to not abandon this account over the year as I usually tend to, and honestly I am pretty proud of how well I did overall in that department, but the past month or so has been a bit rough. With the end of summer/fall influx it's easy to put posting on the backburner, but I really want to make sure to keep showing up and sharing a bit of my work & my life here with all of you. Here's a a handful of this year's sunflower self-portraits with my little guys - this is our fourth year taking these together, 3 times with Coop & once without. It's always fun to find the perfect evening to sneak away and wander the endless flower trails, and I absolutely cherish both the time spent together & the photos we make each year. Cort has always loved sunflowers, he says they make him happy, and I think he's onto something.
